You return to the Upper Room, more slowly than you had hurried to the tomb, Mary. A-a-h-h-h-!, now an empty tomb is a blazing promise of Life, not Death. The unexpected blessing of having God's Messenger assuring you and the other women, that Jesus, the Messiah, had risen, and had conquered Death itself. What was the darkest dawn of your life, is now the brightest, and tears of joy escape your eyes, as you feel within you His warm abiding presence welling up dep within your soul. The aloes which you carry are no longer a burden, necessary for treating the body of your role model, your Saviour, but instead are a symbol of healing, hope, a source of joy and peace within your soul. From the burden of confusion and fear on the way to the tomb, now on your way back your are deeply aware that life is now springing forth, spilling over with His grace and Presence, your face lit up, warmer than the rising sun itself, the world suddenly turned upside down. Like a bride your feet are light on the ground, scarcely touching it. Easter is Now. Rejoice. Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.
