A great and lasting darkness lays heavy upon this land, dimming the brightest lights and consuming the weakest flames. Many are those who abide in the shadows. Few are the bearers of light. Yet, the light still lingers for darkness has not won the war. A flame glows in the East. It flickers in the winds of conflict, but is not extinguished. This flame of hope and courage grows in the hearts of women and men who will no longer stand idly by, watching all they hold dear break asunder under the crushing weight of evil. The light bearers carry their flame westward. The path they trod is veiled in shadow. But, where the light reaches, it kindles a new fire in the hearts of others. Those whose eyes were once dimmed by the darkness, see anew. They raise their newly found flame and light begins to spread, pushing back the darkness. Now is the time to act. Awake, sleepers! Don your tarnished armor! Unsheathe your rusted swords! Sound the horn of war! Call forth your battle-worn armies! The war was not won. The enemy was not vanquished. While you slept, the darkness continued to spread, quietly seeping into the ground around you, corrupting all that was once fair and good. No more! Awake! Arise! Sound the bells! Fan the flame of hope and courage into a raging wildfire that burns away the fetid stain of darkness. Act now for there can be no more delay. To war!
