With Sovereign forces closing in around them, the chances of escaping from Capitol City lessen with every passing minute. The future for Polonius and Lady Penelope is bleak. Then, they are rescued from the clutches of the Sovereign Emperor by a most unlikely friend: the Grand Prognosticate of the Order of The Crimson Meridian. An ancient brotherhood of scholars, archivists, and secret-keepers, the Order of the Crimson Meridian is dedicated to collecting and preserving humanity’s greatest scientific and technological achievements. Polonius and Lady Penelope discover that the Order obscures their true purpose while carrying-out the nefarious plans of the Sovereign Emperor. Unlikely friends, indeed!
