Our beautiful elven sisters, Gaia and Areal, have really become quite fond of our little community of friends, and we in turn have become very fond of them. Trust is also something that does not come easily to the elven world, but it is a big reason why they have decided to share one of their secrets with us. It seems that the elves have lived in our world for thousands of years before we humans became civilized (I use that word in the broadest possible way. . .) All over the world they had build shrines to their god "Mother Earth" also known as Gaia. There are just a few of these structures left and one of them is right here in the old-growth Coastal Redwoods of the Pacific Coast. It also happens to be located near our property (lucky us!!!) The reason nobody knows about it, is that it is under the magical spell put on it by the elves (Think, Amazon Island, Wonder Woman!) Still, there are a small, select group of warrior elves that keep watch over these last few vestiges of ages past. Introduction: This is Snow Flake, captain of the guard, so to speak. She commands four other select elves, like herself, from would-be intruders. Snow Flake has her own story which we will delve into in future postings. That just means I don't have her complete biography planned out yet (LOL). Gaia, as the leader of the elves, made the decision to show us all the shrine and to give us permission to visit it any time we wish, but under the stipulation that we tell no one else! We all swear to never tell of this secret. The funny thing is that Gaia even said that I could be part of this. Males are not usually part of the sister-hood, but after talking to me and getting to know me, Gaia and her sister both agreed that I should be part of it.
