Couldn't resist the sale on the HW deer family :).
I'm just about 100% back from my 2nd Covid vax. Now I'm just waiting for a cracked rib to heal--it's always something when you get to be my age :)
Thanks for dropping by and your kind comments...greatly appreciate you support :)

He's a handsome animal. The porcupine hiding in the background is cute, I bet both are tired of the snow.
I'm glad you're feeling better after the vaccinations, but cracked rib? Oh no! I hope you heal quickly. Take care.

Indeed! Spring has sprung here in Oregon.

You are one of the few who will miss the snow, I think. This is just so peaceful.....nature at its best!

Great scene in the wintery nature... but spring will come, sure! Sorry to hear about your cracked rib, hope you will be better soon, my friend.

Absolutely perfect scenery here. Love the way he's posed! You are so very talented Barbara!
I do hope your rib heals. I hear it is very painful. I recommend taking essential vitamin supplements to help your bones remain healthy, flexible and strong. Stay safe!

Lovely scene... spring has really hit over hear, the blossom is in full effect in the garden. Get well soon!

has not really arrived here yet Barb, cold weather and hardly any budding going on. your image is so beautiful and inspirational my friend. would be a nice calendar image.

A most beautiful winter scene here, Barb! Steve's right - this needs to be on a calendar - so beautiful!
Yeah, we do tend to become more fragile as time goes on.. I feel blessed as I can still do a lot of things many 72 Y-olds can't. We had the J&J vax which is a one-shot deal. I guess they've paused its use temporarily as some have had problems with it. We had no side-effects at all other than the normal soreness you'd get with a flu shot or any other injection.

Fantastic scene. Cracked rib, how on earth did you do that? Hope it heals very soon. x

Reminds me of a painting I saw on the wall of my grand parents when I was young... ;)
Starting to warm up for us too, but still a bit of snow to melt away... π

a wholly noble portrait of a noble creature, with a beautiful fairy tale-ish winter scene. It has magic, and it's very conceivable this will give way to spring very quickly. With Barb/bakapo, I also love the porcupine back there (though she has sharper vision---I wasn't sure of its specie, but it definitely looked similar to a porcupine). And I'm very sorry about your cracked rib---I've begun to appreciate how age makes "permanent" things a whole lot less permanent. I hope it heals thoroughly, and quickly, and I'm sorry for all you've been through. I wish you total health soon.

A beautiful reminder of warmer weather on the way. Although I've been near deer in the suburbs I've never seen a porcupine.

I like the title of your latest composition, referring to the massive and joyful manifestation of the return of a Springtime season that many of us were craving for, following that terrible sequence of pessimistic figures and lockdown regulations that are driving people mad in many countries. Your image is superb !
