love her mythic face and head-dress, and she has a scowl that telegraphs her power. It's a complex pose too---she's got all kinds of twists and turns as if she's in the middle of a complex move, yet she stopped to acknowledge you for a moment. Then you have the branches on the left, which almost reach-out to her as if encouraging her (or protecting her). Articulate branches! And butterflies---butterflies!---in the midst of a fierce samurai move (love it). Shows she has the right forces on her side. I love the floral patterns on her garment---in fact they seem tattoo'd on her skin too. A sunny very affirmative samurai...You may know it already, but the name presumably meant to 'serve others'...but she seems to serve a higher entity. A very affirming image. (Where can I get that crown? I'd love to walk in Chicago w/ that thing!)
