Next up, showing off one of the awesome add-ons for chasfh's Spacegirl 2020 (Bathsheba's Starstrider), this is the "Alderman's Assassins" add-on. Well, the blade came from the base set. And got a cyber overhaul. Last one with the Shark I think. I thought of doing a Spacegirl with it. I might still do that. Hmm. However, I do have some neat little spaceships I've never loaded, so I'll probably load them up. I got something special planned for the Sisters of Chaos... :grin: It may have started as a lighting test, but not I've just got to finish it out and show off everything, because it's all so good and I can't think of a vendor that deserves the love more! I changed the colors on the bike, really digging this black-and-white motif. I ended up recoloring the corset from the base set to match, and adding in my own text. That was fun. I think it turned out nice. Though it was no easy feat getting the leg to be distinct against the motorcyle. I ended up just shading the motorcycle tank a little darker, which did the trick. It still "reads" white. For the pose... I've looked at a lot of vehicle pinups lately. I've noticed that so many of them, the model ends up looking just a bit awkward. There's that odd dynamic going on, where you're aren't sure what should be drawing your gaze. Usually the vehicle takes up most of the frame. After all, a car is bigger than a person, so it stands to reason. And the point is to show off the car, right? So I left her looking a little awkward in tribute to that. As I've been doing these, I've come to the conclusion that for vehicle-related pinups, I want my focus on the girl. The car/whatever is just a prop to help her shine. I think that's why some like those with her on the hood of the car just seem so much better than the ones where she is beside it. At least, that's my take on it. Bikes are just plain awkward to show off in the first place, and awkward to pose with if your goal is pinup. I think this works, and in the end, I spent a lot of time on it. Especially the lighting. I love that split effect there. I hope you guys enjoy it as well. Though it doesn't fit the 16:9 ratio of the others, I think this time I had to break the rule. I'm also working on the comic today. I figure I'll get a couple panels done, and then work on the next pinup with Rochelle, and then work on the rest of the comic page tomorrow. Or maybe I'll get carried away and do it all tonight. I just spent some money on the Daz store again. Combat poses, mostly. And an outfit I couldn't resist. One of these days I need to sit down and make a point to render EVERYTHING I've purchased, but never loaded. It's quite a lot. I feel bad. My wallet feels worse. It all deserves a shot to shine.
