I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

superbly done scene. I have tried to purchase items only to find out that I already have.
LyleAryn
Yep! I've done that a few times, lol.
Radar_rad-dude
Sometimes runtime diving brings up the most delicious items, as is the case here! Magnificent work and fine creation! Bravo!

Very nice, got the sub to, but haven't used it yet.

Ain't that just the way? Thanks for the look and the comment!

Superb scene...tell us when she dives !
LyleAryn
Lol, definitely. Been meaning to do some underwater-type stuff. These figures might be good to practice on.
A_Sunbeam
Good sub!
LyleAryn
Thanks, and I'm glad you like it. It's a pretty sweet submarine.
chasfh
And I might have to agree with you. Best one so far!
That sub is pretty spectacular, and a perfect fit for the Cogman's set. Much tweaking of the lantern seems to have paid off... everyone loves the lantern...
Thank you again for a wonderful set of images!
LyleAryn
Of course! This one is going to be difficult to top, but... I got some ideas..... evil grin

This submarine is splendid, bravo.
LyleAryn
I think so, too. Not a lot of excuses to render such a thing, but I think this works!

Hidden treasure in the Runtime is the happiest thing! And what a cute sub! For some reason I love it on the polished showroom floor "You can get this baby for only 2000 a month! Totally clean, a real creampuff!"
LyleAryn
Yes! For some odd reason, it just works! I changed the color of the floor for the next one, so hopefully it doesn't end up looking too odd with the rest of them. But, that's part of the setup is to have everything easily adjustable. And the color shift made the vehicle pop a bit better. Should up later today!
RodS
She looks great, and ready for some awesome underwater adventures. Super work on this, my friend!
LyleAryn
Thank you so much!

daggerwilldo
Wonderful perspective and a lovely job. Well done.
LyleAryn
Thank you! The idea is that the sub is drawing attention to the model. "Pointing" at it.
dakotajaroo
cool pose , nice pov
LyleAryn
Thanks! It was certainly a fun idea. At one point, I was trying to pose her ON the submarine, but there just wasn't quite enough room. (see the handhold up top? Was going to have her ride it like a horse, lol.) I'm glad I went with this, instead.
jmattatall
i like the lighting
LyleAryn
Thank you! I think I got all the lights I need now in this particular set-up. In the next week I just got to go through an label everything.
