Description

Years back, I drew lots of "fake maps". (I eventually compiled a book.) They were totally made-up: Ie, the print was fake, the locations were fake, etc. The details were heavy, but it's hard to see them in reproduction. (Better full-view, if it shows.) Pencils, chalks and gouache. On rough paper. --------- I'm sorry for my absence. I got a rotator cuff issue, and it was very painful. Also, I had a strong reaction to my first vaccine: They said it was due to my fatigue; but for a few days, I felt pretty bad. But I did upload, but still had problems---images didn't show up, notifications didn't go out, and I couldn't deal with it, so I stopped. I know the staff has worked long and hard, but sometimes it just gets too hard. I'm glad ebots are back...that's encouraging. I'll comment in your galleries soon...and I'll post dedis. But my regular uploads will be spotty. I just wanted to say that I've not forgotten any of you---I've seen every upload---and I hope you're all well despite your many struggles. (I've read them all.) I hope this year turns out a lot better, and I send all my love, healing, and inspiration. Be well, all, Mark ------------------

What a fun and wonderfully creative idea, Mark. Of course, I can't make heads or tails of this map--sort of brings to mind how some governments and their leaders can pump out ridiculous propaganda, and the ignorant masses simply buying the info as TRUTH.

Glad you're getting your "jabs." The reason each person reacts differently is due to genetics and how each immune system works. The stronger the immune system, the greater the reaction. Fatigue has absolutely nothing to do with it. Since I had Covid, my reaction to the first vax was fairly robust (my body's immune system recognized the baddies)--my reaction to the 2nd vax was also robust, but not lasting as long as the first vax's reaction.

could be a map for the Oak Island treasure. a fascinating show on the history channel Mark. hope all is ok with you my friend. I had only minor pain with my first maderna shot, some report of the second one doing it's most actions. we are getting a new form of ebots now. and like the format they came up with. happy your posting and sharing Mark. love your map creation. stay well please. I get my second shot on Monday. i'll let you know what or if anything happens. god bless you my friend.

A map! I like maps. I can't read them, but I like them. My personal observation: a book that contains a map is one worth reading; it means the author told their story in a conceivable way... or something. (also, I never read a bad book that was dedicated to a mother.) This is a super cool map. It looks old and rough and important. Numbers, scrawled writings and special locations that look interesting. Even the texture and wrinkles look perfect and intriguing like many people have tried to find the secret.

I'm glad you got vaccinated. It's one step closer to normal.

This looks really great, Mark! I'd believe it was real - perhaps this is the Amazon's island where Wonder Woman came from...

Wow - hope you're feeling better now, buddy! I've never had a rotator cuff, but I've been told it's not much fun. Hope things have improved with the second dose. We got the J&J version which is a one-shot deal. Sounds like some issues have surfaced with it, but are extremely rare. Neither of us had any reaction at all when we got them.

Hope to see more of your fun art, Mark! Yeah, it's sooooooo good to see the Ebots back, and I love the new format.
