took a while to get my system back in order after a full clean sweep of the hdds. i didnt lose everything, i discarded it, and started from scratch =P so im left only with whatever items ive sold or bought over the past 20 years, got rid of a lot of crap, software included. so im down to just my solid basics, which is good. nice clean and focused. anyway, youve seen ive made a bunch of these, but this is the best version yet. added a visor with rim, got the uvs how i want, grouped how i need, and now can start making more of those storm trooper outfits to practice with =P basic model done with vox layer tool in 3dcoat. retopped and uv-ed in zbrush, textured in 3dcoat, conformed to default cc3 male via GoZ into character creator. visor and rim was done in hexagon. tested poses, looks great, and i added an "inner cuff" for the sleeves and if the visor/rim is set to invisible...
