hey gang =) you step away for a little bit, and boom, so much shit happening you cant begin to take it all in. i hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. so whats the deal with carrara?!? i think we are hitting 8 years with no update, and in these times with things moving so fast, i fear carrara is lightyears behind =( but dammit i do still love it... I see how everything seems to be going in the direction of blender, daz to blender, cc3 to blender... it was so nice, we did have direct access to our daz library, but as genesis evolved, thats where the fun stopped. so what now?!? anyway, as far as me, i finally had the courage to add my old hdd from my old system into my new system, and yay and yipee, years worth of archives and files safely returned. i thought the stuff would had been lost forever, so you can imagine my joy and delight... so now i get to take in all these new advances and upgrades, seems like its open house. zbrush, 3dc, cc3 and iclone, even blender and makehuman got some new beef to throw inb the hamburger. and having them communicate with one another is becoming easier and more intuitive, its a good time for 3d in general.
