Description

As I hesitated to place this beautiful model alone and inspired, I will dedicate a portrait to her in a second version. All the paintings in this image are by Eugène Delacroix, hanging in room 950, Sully wing, level 2, at the Louvre Museum. Thank you for the view and your comments.

J'ai vu il y a trois ans au Metropolitan Museum une exposition Delacroix. Les salles étaient sombres mais les tableaux superbement éclairés et mis en valeur.

C'est un peu ce que j'ai fait ici : pas d'éclairage direct sur le mur, mais un peu de translucence sur le matériau des peintures pour leur donner une présence. Cependant, mon sujet préféré, cela reste une femme qui suspend, un temps, son expression dans une lumière qui la magnifie. :)
