One of the images of my womens day project (a bit more longterm than just one day).
I let them voice what they have to face day by day and what they want.
In many countries it still counts that once you marry you leave your job or that you get kids and leave your job, which is why women
are denied better positions or better payment. In some areas it is expected that you leave your job once your marry. It is a "tradition".
What for? Many women all over the world marry and have a job; marry, have kids and have a job - and those sadly often much worse paid.
Even so those mums have become often (unplanned) organisational masters, they had to, as kids force you to reorganize your life. But this is an ability worth a hell lot of money.

In some asian countries that is quite comon (Korea and Japan). They even get paid less or won't get the job promotion, cause the companies "know" she will leave as soon as she marries someone. No matter, if they will do that in reality.
