I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

She was pushed out because she did not bring enough lite beer to the party. She's thinking, 'Why would anyone drink lite beer out here."
Great image and there are so many paths this image could take us...

She figured a good lager would do.

Lost in Space! Have you ever dreamed that you are lying on the wing of a spaceship and trying with all your strength to hold on to it, unfortunately you slip more and more ... until the universe has you again, you scream out briefly, wake up and lie bathed in sweat in your bed?
LyleAryn
As strange as it may sound, very nearly. Or rather, something very similar.

Thank you Nobby.

At least you'd have the view.

I sure wouldn't want to be stranded out there and unable to get back!
LyleAryn
At least asphyxiation is fairly peaceful, as far as that goes.
chasfh
Well at least she looks stylish whilst floating out into the void!
Nice work!

Science fiction is very fashionable these days, it seems that everyone wants to leave the earth and its problems. Beautiful image that takes us far from our problems of simple earthlings !!

Thanks for commenting.
With the world's richest people entering a space race, I figure its only a matter of time before adventuring to the moon and beyond become a thing.
Koala44
Very nice scene, I hope that the inhabitants of this space station will come to rescue him, I think he will miss air, bravo.
LyleAryn
Thanks. She's definitely in a dire situation, that's for sure.

Fantastic space scene, excellent done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LyleAryn
Thank you! Happy Tuesday!

Excellent space scene! I think this space character just needed some time alone, away from the people she shares this space station with! The constant whining about how they miss earth has gotten to her...floating in space gives her the solitude she so much desires! Nice work and well done! :-)
LyleAryn
I can see that. Perhaps she's got some discrete headphones, and she's just floating along, listening to Iron Maiden.

Coachbuilt finish here. Love it!
LyleAryn
Thanks!

Just cruisin' with a little Elton John.... hopefully she'll get back to the station and remember her safety cable..
Excellent work on this.
LyleAryn
Thank you. I'm glad you like it!

Very fantastic and moody work. The light choices you made made this one come to life. You can feel the endless expanse of space.
LyleAryn
Thank you. I think the lighting took the longest, which hasn't been often the case as of late. I've gotten pretty good at placing lights, I think.

And cold, between all those stars.
