Description
Deborah shrugged off the uneasy feeling that she was being watched and swam slowly to conserve her air supply as she surveyed the wreck. "It's exactly as I hoped! A lot remains intact!"
She was unaware of the other beings stealthily approaching. They communicated with flickering somatic lights just as the squids that were their distant evolutionary relatives. "At last we'll capture one alive!" the flickering lights spelled out.
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered with Poser 12.0.500 with the Superfly Cycles 2 rendering engine. This is my first attempt at rendering an underwater environment with Superfly. 😕 Needs more work, I think.
The diver is a La Femme mesh with morphs and textures from Afrodite-Ohki. The setting is the Undersea Adventure by Blue Tree Studios with other bits and bobs. The mermaids are the work of -Summoner-

Thank you, PV! I'm pretty satisfied with the composition and posing which tells a story that you enjoyed. The technical aspect of trying to convey they are underwater and not flying around in the air? I think I still have work to do. I had it pretty well worked out with all kinds of cheats with lighting and use of visible "depth cue" in Firefly but Superfly is a different beast. Ah well. The certainty that you can do a bit better next time is what makes this interesting and fun, yes?
