Description

Lady of the Lake Just playing around with dForce in water. If you look close enough you can see the dress spreading out under the surface of the water.

Very beautiful. How did you manage to get the dress reacting on the water? Usually if you have shapes interfering with a simulated cloth dForce tends to get confused and the simulated cloth often "explodes". To make it even more photoreal, you could try to give the dress a geometry shell and work with transparency to make it visible from the bottom to just slightly over the waterline. Then you could make it appear slightly darker an more glossy. That way you could get the impression as if the water soaks up on the dress (just as an idea) 😁

I love the surroundings you've placed the figure in!

I positioned the water plane low, and had my figure above the water plan. The figure descended in to the water plane. Then, I put the water plane back to where it was. That way, just under the surface the dress flattens out.

I hope that made sense.
