Frontier living in the Territories. It was hard living in the west in the 1900's. Especially in out of the way small towns.

great light in this, and you captured the really enclosed feeling of it. I didn't realize there was so much earth and stone in it. It's really a cave. Love the photo. Love the light. (I'd love to visit this couple and say, "nice carpeting!" They'd probably throw me out...) Really fine capture of this cave-like space.
