Those are some badlands for sure. Better have plenty of water and experience in desert survival. There are some really interesting stories of people going missing in Arizona (I think) looking for the 'Lost Dutchman Mine' in terrain just like this.

more shots of this amazing landscape. You really capture the other worldly feel of it. Like this were the moon. You captured the powdery land, as well as those strata in the mounds. The light is bleached and bright, mixed with real shadow. A beauty. I've never been there, but am dying to see it...esp after your shots of it...
