well, I wouldn't call her "pissed off" (steve's comment above), though I can understand how someone might see that. I'd say she's deep in inner thought, and disturbed by what she's thinking. THere are those great intense eyes again, and your powerful use of heavy blacks. And her posture is inward and pondering. Love that you use hues in a few places, and very effectively. And a grayish background that feels like wet plaster. This is visceral and unashamedly thick and smeary. And it has power and immediacy. Another powerful portrait from you.
