Description
I inherited my grandparents photo's from my mother when she passed years ago. I believe it was taken in Des Moines Iowa. I think maybe late 1800's.It is 2"X3"

Great atmosphere of the past

boy is this an old photo, or what...love that coat---belted from two places, not one; and that big collar, and it goes long too. I Know midwestern winters, and she was prepared for this one. Love how whited-out the background homes are, and the flat midwestern land in front of them. Great old shot. And the textures here are really visceral, for a photo. A little like your drawings. Thanks for uploading this, it's a little revelation. I hope you're well, Steve, and same to your loved ones. Long year we got through. Hope it treated you well.
