Description
Another test of the QA musket with streamlined files and updated textures. Still ran at 512mg. Might have to separate the files to get through the Free Stuff max limits. The gun worked fine but the Desperado pose required a bit of pushing and pulling. Dulled the brass and iron from the stock settings for patina and tinkered with the flint's translucency and top coat to acquire a little luster. None everyone's gig but users will be encouraged to play with the asset's textures as the results can be subtle to dramatic depending on light and setting. Wood is walnut from Rendermode.
The Renaissance Spanish rapier in a Conquistador sword rig doesn't quite jive with a baroque period firelock but I like it. The mishmash of clothes were in some cases tedious as G8 Female Fit Controls don't seem to apply on a G8.1 without some scripting, Mesh Grabber helped a bit. Not a high seas setting but couldn't resist letting Pirate Girl wander into a new Orestes HDRI with a little gun smoke for flair. Rendering time was short in medium scale on the old 1080.

Looks great! Wow, you've done a wonderful job with it.

Thanks Lyle - a lot of the work went into shaping and markings. Guns of this era were in transition - within a few decades they were essentially the same as those carried by British forces in the American revolution. Some regiments in Boston still had muskets with wooden rammers though these were replaced right before the war.
Arcane but fun. Nothing but the best for our 3D scalawags...

Thanks jmattatall - Was a new Orestes HDRI that i had to use. The girl is a tweak from my first attempt at character creation. Still use her a lot.
