another crazy manipulation of my city...I have no idea where it came from, but it's the lake (& skyline)...
(again, a bit more detail large)

This one is interesting. It makes me think the city is in desperate need of some waste management, or maybe pollution is out of control. It's cool though,

This is so cool and fun. It reminds me of Saturday morning cartoons for some reason. It's a wonderful fantasy land. A castle on the left, balloons in the distance, and some awesome fairy tale colors... all under the sun, clouds and rainbow filled sky. I also suspect there are talking frog princes in the water in the foreground. Woo-hoo! This is cool, stuff.

Love what you've done with the photo, Mark--you've turned it into a glorious abstract piece of art...

Your photomanips are one of a kind, Mark! You have such an amazing innate skill for making them look like something out of a dream (one of mine, anyway), or a gripping sci-fi novel. I love the contrast - in both form and color - with the rigid, monolithic modern structures in most of the image with the white, castle-looking building on the left. Seriously epic, sir!

Waste management and pollution? Well, I suppose you could interpret it as that. It kind of projects a "there will be a hot and boisterous time in the old town tonight" ambience. It also suggests a post apocalyptic sensation about it. All in all, a marvelous rendition of the Chicago Skyline, Mark!
