This is really cool. It's like a glimpse into Dante's Inferno... or something like that.

totally brilliant blend of colors and design in this manipulated image Mark. wonder what the original looked like?

Hell and the Devil await? I dunno, but this is really neat. So many bright, warm colors against the deep, dark black. The tiny bit of green is like life trying to survive in the heat... and it's winning! The bubbles in the back are a fun touch and add even more movement to the flames and heatwaves up front. I'm not sure what I'm really looking at, but it's really awesome!

A bold and fearsome piece of art, Mark...wonderful use of these strong colors--definitely the Devil's Cauldron

An opera..... It obviously was a Wagnerian piece....
You really have a talent for these wonderful abstracts, Mark! And yes, I'm hearing "Ride Of The Valkyries" as I look at this! I love it! Those tiny green balloons / bubbles at the top remind us that hope and renewal are always waiting to restore us.

spot on, sir! I thought of Wagner too---I looked it up and it was actually Mozart: It was a student production, and honestly, if Mozart had been present, he'd have said: "Boy do you have the wrong composer! Stick with Wagner..." Thanks for your wonderful comments, Rod. I hope you get all that your house is worth (I saw your comment about that---glad you got a positive motivation, you deserve it!) (I'd put in an emoticon, but---believe it or not---I still don't know how to use them! Pitiful...)

Phantom of the Opera, that's it, oh yes, that's what the poster was all about. Then again, maybe. Whatever its origin, it has to do with ignition, blazes, an inferno. Beautifully administered, Mark, it reacts and jettisons out fire and brimstone.
