Not many people would care, but she had. She had hoped and tried hard to get him out of that sewer he had fallen into. But there is only so much anyone can do. Sometimes the deck is just stacked against you. It is easy to be judgmental. To look at people from the comfort of where we sit and find fault. To dish out criticisms. To slap on labels. To reduce things down to terms of good or bad and lose sight of the person. Reality is never that simple; and everyone has their demons. Sometimes you beat them. Sometimes they win. Everyone has to face them. But you do not have to do it alone.

The girl looks a lot like the actress "Lucy Liu". Was that your intention?

Thanks for asking. Yes, Onishi was my attempt at creating a Lucy Liu likeness for the character. I still tweak the face from time to time trying to improve on my original but rarely have much luck so end up going back to the original Onishi morphs. I think I did a few small tweaks on this version and may keep them as they seem to help improve the likeness. My hat is often to the artist who can create good likenesses of people. I am finding it is not as easy as I thought. Have a good one!

Wow! Great render and great message! In the last two years I often came to the point where I asked my self, if my life really ever matters in this world. But you are right: everybody is a somebody to someone! You just need to find that "someone", before giving up!
Your render reminds me, that I probably should do something with the gorgeous Onishi again. She is twiddling thumbs in my runtime since quite a while.

Onishi makes a wonderful cop, and you have used one of my favorite quotes of all time. I can see why police, doctors, firemen, teachers, etc have a high burnout rate. Very moving image and words.

Sometimes you can only do as much as you can to a person close to you. And when that person do not want any help, it all comes down to their own decision and how their end will be. It's a sad but great work on the scene.

So much emotion in this amazing render! Both the narrative and the render get top marks in the way you depicted your characters with a very important message for those about to give up! I noticed the Lucy Liu look right away. Excellent job on that. Nice short series, but very sad. It sucks when some can't seem to escape from bad habits. Nice work on the renders. Excellent details.
