Description

A lovely woman lounges by the pool while sipping a tropical during a warm summer day. Date Finalized: July 23, 2021 Software Tools: Poser 12, Photoshop CC, Lightroom CC I created this artwork as my first entry for Renderosity’s Swimsuit Contest. The original idea for this artwork was to have her lounging on a recliner/lounger by the pool but it kind of “evolved” to what you see here over time as I kept working on it/improving upon it as the hours ticked by. Posing her lips around the straw wasn’t easy but I think I finally got her mouth looking right. Her entire pose is of my creation rather than a preset. I’m not sure why I didn’t do the usual thing of starting with a preset then adapting it to my needs but this time I just started from a default zero pose and did all the work myself. I’m rather proud of that. I also created the bikini textures. I actually created three sets which I’ll release to the freebies section after the contest is over with. (You can now find those bikini textures in the Free Stuff section right now! I unfortunately didn't place in the contest but at least I have a nice artwork for my gallery. :)

Well she's a winner in my book, Lizzie! You put a lot into this and it shows!

I do like to start from the "T" pose and just do it myself a lot of the time - it just seems like I'm putting more of myself into the scene. If I'm doing a scene with a lot of characters and poses (like a scene from the TNA story), I'll usually start with a preset pose then modify it to suit the scene. Problem is I have so darn many pose packages it takes almost as long to find something to start with as it does to just create a pose from scratch! LOL

Keep on creating!

Thank you so much. :D I have that problem too with so many pose packages that it takes forever to find the right pose to start from! LOL That's one of the reasons I just start from scratch so often, I get so frustrated looking for the right pose that I just give up and make my own. Ha!
