Rockport MA
I had the chance to get away this weekend. The first time I've had a day off in over 5 years. Have you ever wanted the clock to stop? :)
I spent most of the time on the balcony of the motel room because... covid is still out there... but I have some nice photos to share.

oh barb, I'm so happy you got to get away, and I'm sure a weekend wasn't nearly enough time...I know how long you've been caring for your mom. What a glorious image you took, it reminds me a bit of my lake, only I know this is the ocean and goes on forever. Glorious shot, with silver/coppery tones (such copper tones you got!), and that smooth water. I've been to Rockport, and this peninsula, for me, was always the start of the amazing north atlantic coast, all craggy and primal...and fishing towns...gloucester and such...Beautiful coppery shot, and it's just the kind of peace and beauty you deserved. I hope you can do it again soon, when covid isn't around. Beautiful capture.

I didn't make it to Gloucester this time, but the rocky shore is amazing, isn't it.

Wonderful view! I often regretted that I should have taken more photos. My brain often stopped in front of the beautiful view like this. But time didn't stop. So I had to leave the place without taking any photo. Thank you for sharing your wonderful time :)
