I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Great job with the hair. I think there is a 3D version of it here called Dynasty Hair. I love mucking around with idea. Before I know it, it’s 3 AM. Super post card.

It's like a deja-vu, a cover model of Vogue magazine, probably from the 70's, I assume.
Outstanding fabulous awesome character, glamorous and gorgeous, brilliant awesome render.
Mesmerizing beauty and a magnificent Masterpiece of Finest Arts. I love it!

It was very likely scanned from a copy of Vogue, Glamour, or a similar fashion magazine. I've got literally thousands of images I've collected / scanned over the years. I used to do a lot of airbrushing, and had notebooks full of images as references. When I got into computers and CG, I scanned all the pages in those notebooks. They take up a lot less physical space that way! LOL

Fantastic work on this beautiful character.

wow, very good work!

Great work on the shape, the eyes aren't a match yet but those are a matter of posing, get her face angled down slightly and the eyes pointing at the camera to expose the whites underneath. Once again, great work.

Take good care of yourself, I don't know if I'll be able to go on Renderosity for the next few weeks. I'm leaving next Saturday, a bit like going to Lourdes and hoping for a miracle...

I have no knowledge of the techniques you used unfortunately, so I can't respond as your other fans have. But when I see the magazine photo and yours, i can appreciate the amazing adaptation you created. The magazine model has a more stern look (which remains in vogue even today---ie, the 'forbidden' look that advertisers love, to make their products feel forbidden therefore creating a desire to have it, own it, etc). But you've sofened her considerably to a kinder and more open face...in fact she seems gently vulnerable. (And beautiful work on the eyes, the face coloration, etc.) You've, of course, removed the turtleneck, etc, and replaced it with a bold bikini top, and that red is big and dominates. (And btw, placing this against a light cream background---with a tad of pink in it---is a wonderful choice.) She's striking but vulnerable and open, even posing a question. And you made her hair much more full, plus a more complex angle (the magazine model is facing us, yours is turned slightly, while she turns to acknowlege us---that's a photographer's way of seeing things!) Beautiful transformation. I wish I knew the techniques, but "60% transparency as a guide for playing with the V4 morphs"---I'll have to take your word on that...but visually I can see your beautiful work at work. (Love the font, btw...garamond? It's very classy...)
