I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

I feel for you my friend. Even seeing the picture of that is painful.
Radar_rad-dude
Just leave it, Rod! Why do you need a perfectly fine looking vehicle. Just call it a character mark. That is what I do or have done the last two times my wife has left bigger scrapes than this one on my van. LOL! What the heck is the difference? It not going to make your vehicle run any better if you remove the little scrape mark is it? Well, that is my two cents worth on it. Of course the flip side of the coin is are you trading it off anytime soon? Then it does affect the trade in value up to a certain point. But only in late model vehicles. And since this looks like a late model vehicle, I guess Daddy knows best. Well, I'm worn out now. Gotta go rest my jaws! LOL.

So sorry you're out of pocket Rod. Shame you didn't get her registration number. Might be a cloned car or illegal driver with no insurance or valid license! THEN who gets the last laugh? Stay safe Sir!
WolaverJS
So your Dodge didn't quite dodge the fencepost? Forgive me, I could not resist.
RodS
More like the driver didn't dodge the post with the Dodge! LOL

Don't you just hate people like that! They're one of the reasons I bought a Jeep Wrangler... The front "bumper" is literally a battering ram, so I'd have just stopped and let her run into it... Especially if she was driving some expensive euro-box. I hope you get your insurance woes resolved with a minimum of pulling teeth.
eekdog
OUCH!!! i deal with jerks like that daily, so many don't know how to make left turns w/o the drifting into the other turn lane. seem a gal driving her car on the sidewalk last year, she missed the turn for the apartment complex and did not want to go up the street and turn around. about a hundred other idiot maneuvers along with drivers like you had, on my street middle of the road for allot of stupid people. . bummer drag on your vehicle Rod. i suggest sending AR over to her house with out her morning coffee. all yell will pay. at least you and dear Jo are ok.
RodS
Ar without her morning coffee? Oh, my..... That would be.... Intense. I wouldn't even do that to Trump...Um.... Yes I would, actually! ππ€£π

Sorry to hear the bad news about your car Rod! I think its time to send in the TNA team to right the wrong that this careless driver you faced on the road did. Perhaps the girls can pay her a personal visit and inform her on how her selfishness on the road gets dealt with, by them. As far as that rocket launcher goes...if you still need one you may be able to secure one on e-bay, but you will most likely have to assume a different identity upon purchase...I hear the Taliban might have posted a few on that site recently! "LOL" Now I hope the men in black don't pay me a visit due to this comment! Take care and be well my friend! :-)
RodS
Oh, trust me... Not a day passes that I don't wish I had a real TNA to go out and clean up all the current messes.... π

That's what insurance if for :) I'm sure the final bill will be more than the $250 deductible. By the sounds of it, your experience with this crazy woman driver could have turned out much worse! Thank goodness you have good reflexes.
bakapo
Ouch! Sorry about the car, but I'm glad you weren't hurt.
JoeJarrah
That sucks. I live in a neighbourhood overrun with "urban tractors", so my sympathies.
makennedy
I used to make a living fixing damages like that, at least its superficial....(still sucks tho)$$$
FurNose
Oh, no! What a bummer...!
@ Radar-rad-dude: Well there is another reason to fix it (at least in MY country): If you leave it, it will corrode, if it corrodes, you won't get through the next technical check (which depending on the car's age we have to do every other year), so you can give up the whole car all together, prematurely just because you where too lazy to fix it, when it was just 250$...
RodS
Yeah, that is definitely one of my concerns. It will corrode pretty quickly here as well. I've seen it happen to other peoples' cars when they didn't get a minor scratch fixed.

I only love the coffee stuff section, the rest, I hate it. Thanks God you and Jo are doing fine.

I would not have got out of the mini vans way. Now it costs you instead of them.

I'm really sorry you had to deal with this. You got great responses here, but yeah, if you let the scratch sit, it'll rust, the paint will peel/crack, etc. I think, if there's a heaven, there'll be a deductible. But maybe hell will have a huuuuuuuge one by comparison. (Can you imagine being judged so harshly that not only do you get sent to hell, but you can't get in until you pay the deductible??? "I what??? I owe money??? This is HELL, people, what more could I owe???") I'm sorry this happened Rod...you've had so much bad karma there, and I hope it stops for good so you can finish up and get out of there next year. I'm very happy you and Jo had no injury, though, and are ok. (I have to say, though, that I love that we can see you in the reflection---I'm sure it's not fun for you, but it's kinda cool!) I'm really sorry for all your travail, Rod, and I wish you and Jo much , much better fortune from here on out, so that, at the perfect time in 2022, you can move to the place you genuinely both love, with peace, peace, peace and a ton of beauty. May this be the last assault from above that you have to endure.
shadownet
Yes, this happens often to nice people. To some that means they should stop being nice but I disagree. I think being nice is way more important than being like the person that ultimately caused the problem. It is not a happy or fair thing but it speaks well of you and bad of them. Try to take it in stride!

Bad luck seems to follow you around, Rod......I know the feeling.....sometimes it makes me feel like I'm living under a dark cloud.....a very dark cloud. Best of luck to you Rod.....I hope things soon get better for you.
donnena
Wow!!!! Condolences for your misfortune!!!

Rod, i drive for a living they always tell us to stop and not trying to avoid and taking all the risk. Of course the vehicle that i drive is a bit bigger than that of most and even than that of the 'privileged few'.
anitalee
So sorry
