Description

This also was in the first place one Apophysis fractal. It was quite a lot of work to get this result. But very educational and fun to try. Because I've so much pain in my whole face/eyes, I was forced to do this in phases, but my patience was (in my eyes at least) not for nothing. So, I let a satisfied sigh when it finally finished. ;-) Thank you very much for your look, as for any comments.

I have no doubt that this took a long time to create. It's difficult to balance 3 frames with complex fractal imagery. And each frame is very full, in addition. It's truly beautiful, Jacomina. Unlike the previous tryptich---which was doused in dark oranges, reds and so on---this is a poetic green and blue image. The hues are poetic and introspective. Your forms are very flower-like. And you have that central spiral, like a huge fractal snail.

Then, the background to these structures is a bryce-like set of swirls and converging lines (beautiful!). (By "bryce-like," I mean the software, Bryce). And everything is set against an off-white, flat background, with beautiful thin lines and little 'ganglia'---little nexuses of energy, all in blues and grays. That background is like a very fine Japanese paper---the kind of paper that is used for decorative screens, or for endpapers of fine books.

All of this falls into the triptych beautifully and naturally. Beautiful work, Jacomina. And, as always, I'm very sorry for all your pain and struggle. I appreciate how hard it is to create as much as you create...and to create so much beauty in the process. I'm sorry you have to go through this all the time. I wish you as much peace and relief as the heavens can give you.
