oh yeah, it looks like dead wood. Full size it's like a tree graveyard that's been flooded. An amazing sight---the trees look skeletal, and they're sunken in water, like a bunch of skeletons dancing in the lake. An eerie almost macabre scene---i love the capture.

(I'm skipping, btw, only so I can get a representative sample...)
