I compared the two versions of your image, with or without DDG. Both are obviously superb, fantastic! Without DDG, the result is more "realistic", in particular on skin tones. With DDG, the colors are more distinct, posterized, but it creates a very eye-catching image. Conclusion: you do a fantastic job with both Daz and DDG! Bravo!

I see Jean_C has also looked at your original---wonderful. She's seeing the differences. Your original, yes, is smoother and subtler. Your choice of dress: I didn't know that so many styles of clothing and ritual ornament were available to artists. Maybe you created these yourself? I know nothing about the method, except that she's wearing what looks like a series of bone ornaments cascading down her torso. They look like they have a deeper signficance than clothing itself. Her crown/headdress is also very ceremonious, like a wedding headdress or something denoting passage or position of respect. It's a very compelling image, Barb, it draws us in. (Honestly, a whole slew of your images do that.) And she's surrounded by an arch or circle, with what looks like a stylized floral designs, or (almost) runes. So mysterious. She does look watchful, and also mysterious, and contemplating something well beyond the frame.
The DD version heightens and saturates colors, as it does in your other DD images as well, turning muted flesh tones into intense yellows and reddish browns. Her lipstick is a shock-purple, and her hair is both brighter and darker, depending on where you look. The 'bone clasps' down her front are now more pearl-like, more shell-like. And the background almost looks like an illustration out of Dante's Inferno, or some phantasmagorical eastern 'cycle of lives' pageant, especially inside that floral circle. I can almost see human figures in there, while the 'runes' are now dancing spirits. Such a myth-inducing image. This really is a wonderful journey you're creating (the original and DD metamorphoses). Another wonderful pair.

These all have been awesome, but this is my favorite - at least so far. The bold colors and linework suit her so well. Fantastic work here, Barb! You're having way too much fun with this DD thingy.. ๐ And we get to enjoy the results!
