Such a fun scene you've created. Looks like little Miss Autumn will have to work harder to get those leaves to change color--apparently Global Warming is mucking that up :)

oh man, this is a sheer delight. I love your Autumn queen, with a pumpkin head (and leaves for hair--w/ those little blue thing-ies coming out of her--a ribbon? misbehaving hairs?) (a comic, paula poundstone, used to talk about hairs "in an unauthorized activity")...and a blue face with deep red lipsick! (Maybe the pumpkin top is a crown!) You gave her a wonderful gold cape (satin too), long bony fingers, holding a bright yellow leaf, and a basket---and there's your signature again, quietly siting on the basket in that beautiful deep red. You know, your little touches are as wonderful as your big ones...And what's she wearing? Ralph Lauren? No: a pure Disney pumpkin for her dress, w/ one of those big cartoon smiles: great touch, barb. And a deep red 'yellow brick road'...I love that you put this deep red path in the middle of a black and white forest (to capture the fact that you haven't seen a fall color yet---I hope it's just a delay and not global warming, as barb/goldie fears). I can't help but think of the wizard of oz, with that road...You even stuck a frog on the bottom! I love miss autumn's little dance, and those bright blue arms...a total delight, barb. Ya did it again! You spun magic. I'm expecting that pumpkin dress to say, "golly, miss autumn: let's bring autumn to all the little kids in the whole wide world!" (I sound like an idiot, but this piece is pure childhood!) Love it!
