The minute I saw this i started singing "Shot through the heart and you're to blame!" One should be more careful when cranking that handle, lol!!! Excellent render.

I'm a week late on this, but my wishes stay the same: Happy Birthday Rod, and many more! You're totally right about Rod's contributions to the site, steve...and what a fine person he is, to all of us. I love your dedi---a dark macabre image (perfect for halloween) with your model and a great head of hair---she looks like she's about to jump out and attack someone. Great eyes too. And your reds are all over---you use hues beautifully. And they're set off by that beautiful box, and a bright yellow light in her hand. And lots of shadow, and a great jester on the front to of the box.
And to top it all off? A great cartoonish "BANG!!" in very cartoonish letters. A cartoonish smile in the middle of a wonderfully creepy image. Love how you handle dark scenes! (And Iove the angle too.) You're approaching halloween with some real sinister gems...and this is a wonderful dedi for our dear Rod.
