This is so interesting to see, especially that large heater with that huge pipe, and those people from that completely different time. I love this.

ooh I love this. I like Jacomina's comment too (dochtersions). A real old photo...love that interior---that was in the days when places of business didn't have to have all glitz and glitter, this is a real collector's piece. That stove (yes?) with the lone exhaust pipe, and the lines of the ceiling light wiring (if that's what they are!), and the long empty sweep of the floor, with the men all in the back (w/ pool or billiard tables)---a real treat. I assume that's "Oyster" on the right, and this is clearly a place of eating or imbibing. But that open space and the darkness of the floor make this so mysterious, with a real feeling of another age. The slight blur makes it even more of another age---like time has made it harder to make out the faces, as if we weren't supposed to do that to begin with. Wonderful snapshot of your family past, steve...

Awesome photo. I did the same heating for my green house 12x8 metres width, we went out next spring with fresh lettuce in the market, it was a big success.
