wow, the last call of a bar...your heavy blacks and the intense aligned stokes give this a very intense feeling. A salt shaker (I assume), an ash tray and a glass all take on a very strong presence; and while you have perspective, you also flatten it---the glass and ash tray are practically on the same plane, even though the glass would be normally seen from the top...in so doing, you've made them both flush forward. This has the same power your other intense pencil drawings have. With space on top and bottom (and a lot of smudging). I love how you dive into the medium itself, and let the graphite talk.
