For elleque and anahata.c because their comments on my last image made me smile.
An excited Firedrake is telling Heatwing all about the sweet potato he found in the farmer's garden.
"Yeah cool, but could you talk a little softer, my hair just burned off..." Heatwing interrupted.

Ha ha! I laughed when I just saw this. The monster is a bit rough but a wonderful cook. Enough firepower for cooking. Wonderful scene!

oh this is the best, barb...thanksgiving dinner for dragons! With sweet potato casserole for elleque. (I assume that round dish with the roasted marshmallows on top is the sweet potato casserole---at least that's how everyone I knew ate them---opulent dish!) I love the dark den, and the two dragons talking---the other guy, is he pissed off? He looks a little miffed with the fire-dude! I love the thanksgiving table (I could actually eat there even though I'm vegetarian), and there's a dragon on the right: Either he/she's resting, or has passed out from the dinner (t.giving dinner isn't known for its 'lightness'). And a great view on the world outside, with more dragons coming by . But these two must be discussing politics. This is a marvelous image barb, even w/out the humor, I love the dark cave and the table, and the vew outside (and there are your birds! and your signature stuck on a leaf--verrrry clandestinely this time...), all framed by those leaves in front. You know, I still can't imagine doing these pieces, I mean placing everything just so, getting them all lit, composed, magical (as is your way): It looks so painstaking to do, and yet the finished image is always magical and delightful. Another wonderful "treasure chest" from you. And it's great that you riffed on a couple of quips from your fans (me being a big one!). Wonderful. Funny and magical all at once.
