Description
Gramma and Grampa's photo. My Mom said her grampa and Gramma did hair cuts and permanents here. She called it a Haberdashery. It looks like it is a restaurant and bar also.

A cozy place to socialize and have some good time, eventually a hair cut or a glass of something. Superb vintage photo.

("Haberdasher" was originally a place of many wares, so your grandmother had the right idea.) (I know that, today, it mainly means a clothier....maybe your grandmother gave 'bespoke' hair cuts!) What a photo---I love this. It's so dark, and there's so much in it. That guy on the left---with the beard and coat---what a shot! And the women are clearly of an older time, in those long gowns and their hair styles. And it looks like they had all kinds of goods here, from the stuff on the sides. And wayyyyyy back, some people in formal attire (maybe) sitting. Eating, I assume? This is really rich, Steve. It feels like it's from the 1800s, but if it's your grandparents, it couldnt go back that far. But boy does it speak of another time. Amazing shot.
