Description
This is a repost of yesterday's image. I worked with Stanimal's suggestions as best I could (they were productive suggestions!) I tried to improve the lighting and the cigarette smoke. I also did post work in PhotoShop on the chair to make it look a little more lived-in. The bug shadow/effect didn't come out as well as I had envisioned. Thanks again to Stanimal for the comments.

This is coming right along- The cigarette and smoke are a jillion times better. The chair also works well. The light color changed a little bit, didn't it? It's less white and more rose colored. I'm not sure I like that effect or not. But I do, like the single light source better. How were you trying to do the cockroach shadow?

Stanimal and Dreamspinner--thanks for the comments! Stanimal's saved the image. I'm glad you like the angle, Verdie. The image developed from wanting to use this particular angle--I was getting tired of seeing so many images on a horizontal plane. Thanks again you two!

Have you tried lengthening the shot a little? It might help free up some space to move the bug into a better position so the shadow is more clearly visible. Just a suggestion. This is really a terrific idea!

Great, Mark. Good contol over dat Poser dude. I know one thing, I don't want to see what he's looking at. By that particular expression, it's either the IRS or the girl he brought home from the bar the night before......while stoned to the gills.

I like the fact that I have to imagine what he's looking at. Nothing like a little dread to ruin one's day. Very diggable, Mark.
