Description
Greetings, everyone! It's been a loooong time since I've posted anything. I started this back in September, I think, and didn't touch it again until today. Most of the objects were downloaded from 3DCafe. I made the spill and the guitar cord in trueSpace. The figure was imported from Poser. There's no postwork on this. So here's the story: Rik Rokker was about to start writing some new tunes when he saw a cockroach the size of Georgia on his ceiling. I wanted to add the giant shadow of a roach but I haven't figured out how to do it yet. Had fun doing the smoke from the cig, though--I had an idea for doing it in Bryce instead of in post. Does it work?

No, I'm afraid it doesn't. Just looking at the image, I had no idea what the whole white blur thing was about. Scale is too big on the cigarette and the smoke doesn't look like smoke. The spill is good. Everything else is good. Really like the ironing board and iron. Maybe if you made the scene more self explanatory, that would make it work better. Good start though. Lighting is a bit harsh and coming from too many directions as well.

Thanks for the comments, Stan! They are greatly appreciated. I knew I had a problem with the lighting. I'll probably repost this. Hopefully, I'll get a few more critiques in the next day or so. Thanks again!
