Liebe Ute, ich fühle mich sehr geehrt mit einer so schönen Szene, wundervoll von dir zusammen gestellt. Und ich bin sicher, dass das Duckling nichts schlechtes passiert. Oh man, diese Mädels sind aber streitsüchtig. Aber an den Haaren ziehen, geht ja gar nicht. Mich würde interessieren, worum der Streit geht. Ich denke mal, sie zanken sich, wer den Entenbraten zu Weihnachten bekommt. :)

First, Mies/Jacomina is one of our most sensitive and fine artists, and I'm thrilled to see your dedi for her. Second, I love that she said that the ducks have no idea what those women are fighting over (they just want to get to the water!). I love the postures of the two battling young women, you have light on their clothes too---I don't know how you do that: Ie, you make fabric a bit like silk or even smooth leather or vinyl. Very effective lighting. And the ducks fit perfectly....and you have a very misty beautiful background. This is clearly a country image (Mies lives in the country). And that beautiful yellow duckling really stands out: It's like a character out of a fairy tale. Enchanting and magical, and funny. I'm really glad Mies loves it.
