I was until last year (2020) an avid Bryce user, although not that active anymore on this website (you could check out my gallery) and https://www.renderosity.com/rr/mod/gallery/fate-is-an-odd-thing/3038747/ was the very last render I made with Bryce before it mysteriously crashed. Time to look for something else and Blender being the obvious choice because free and such. The learning curve with about 20 years of experience with Bryce under the belt was not as steep as I expected, far from it. Bryce has been restored into working condition, but the difference between Bryce and Blender is huge, there is so much more possible, it is so much quicker in rendering, especially now that version 3.0 is out. Oh and another thing, JPEG only :s This was one of the first pictures I rendered with Blender.
