Princess Aisling Duval of the game Elite Dangerous might not be leading the most powerfull faction in 3304, she sure has a loyal following. Compared to Bryce this render has a bunch of things that are not possible or very difficult with Bryce. Bryce has IBL and Depth of field. Especially that latter runs the render times in Bryce through the roof. However even with only IBL the render time is still measured in hours. Compositing is thing that is completely absent in Bryce, glare-filter, lens-distortion had all to be done with Photoshop in post production. Not any more. Oh and that is another thing, Photoshop is out of the window, I switched to Affinity, just as good but a hell of a lot cheaper because it is a single price, 150 bucks for Photo, Design and Publisher (alternatives for Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign). With a bit of luck they throw in a discount, I got the whole lot for just 80 Euro's. By far my best buy of 2020.
