such a simple, eloquent design...part of it is the beautiful shading, part of it is the subtle hues--those pale pink/salmon/beige hues, which intensify or lighten depending on your shading...part of it is the deep black outlines in the center, harmonized by the pitch black of the background...One of your simpler MB pieces---visually, at least---but it's so classy and subtle and yet it's strong, bold. You know it's like an artist works so many years that they develop a second sense of mastery, of making simple forms so eloquent...that's what this is to my eye, an example of the easeful finesse and mastery of your art. (And your signature stands dead-center, this time, a place it's earned by being put into every position imaginable! And in a full sautrated version of your pale pink hues...) Beautiful, Barb, and a wonderful and uplifting and inspired 2022 to you. It's been a wonderful pleasure to be here and be part of your world all these magical years...

Wishing you a better 2022 than the last, it's been a tough couple of years. Hopefully 2022 will be a turning point for Covid not so much with it's eradication but with more and more people getting vaccinated a learning to live with it because like the seasonal flu it's probably here to stay. Hope you took it easy on the Champagne last night, it always gets me just a couple of glasses and the carbonation has Quasimodo doin a tap dance with that Bell the next day...Oof!
