So adorable, and even without the title to make it clear, I could tell at a glance the doggie was offering the stick and not tearing off the snowman's arm, and thought, hmm, that is not an easy thing to convey since it could look either way to the casual observer, but I think you nailed it and the pose and pov tell the story perfectly!

delightful, Barb. I love the simplicity of it, and how the snowman leans into the dog. (And how the dog is trying to finish the snowman---or maybe he's not doing that: maybe the snowman threw the dog a stick, and he fetched it, and is offering it back!) Your setting is simple and very christmas-y, and I love the two big yellow-lit windows in the background, and that you frame the piece with two trees in front. Simple and delightful...and after a year of so much posturing, incl religious posturing from many faiths, this is a humane christmas wish. I hope you had a peaceful and loving holiday, and I hope this week is as good. (NewYear's was always a great day when I was younger...but now it's so much less to me. Going to a party where you can't hear, and getting drunk? Not my thing these days, And some friends still do drugs on NYEve: Nooooooo thank you. I'm gonna smoke a joint and go "oh wowwwww" all night? while eating 20 bags of doritos?) I hope your new year celebration is warm, gentle and loving. It's been great being in your world all year long, Barb, and I'm very grateful for it all. Sorry I've been late, of late, but it'll improve. a very fun render. my friend and neighbor told me about a cat that use to live next door. he would feed them when their mistress was gone. anyway the cat came over to his yard and dropped a rat at his feet that was still alive. to say the least it did not go over big. have a safe New Year and enjoy later
