Description
After seeing jdwtrxk's excellent figures for the Witcher done in a diorama, just had to have a go at making one, though really I'd like to make a set of pieces/characters that could become a chess set...
Hence this simple diorama made in a combination of Silo, Zbrush, PixelmatorPro, FilterForge and Daz Studio... all with excellent models of course
Stand made in Silo and textured with FilterForge 9
Runestone made in ZBrush with Texture from Texturehaven.com
Tree from the Olivegrove by SharaMuse3D here at Rendo
Delaney skin texture by Mousso
Ursula Hair for G3 and 8 by AprilYSH
dForce Lost Lagoon Outfit for G8 by Linday
Hobgoblin by Daz and Josh Crockett
Goblin clothes from STF Bonebreaker armour by Roguey Strangulate
plants are old poser files

Really nicely done, Paul. It suggests to me that the goblin has a message of import for the maiden who is attending carefully. The detail makes this a picture that must be opened and examined at full resolution. Thank you for sharing your work, my dear!

Many thanks, Molly, I have to confess that it is really DS that gives the detail, the more I use it the more I like the render engine over SFly. Having said that, I need to become proficient in Blender to really give that render engine a try...

I really am impressed ! you've done a wonderful job but how long did it take ? Given the result, it was worth the efforts.

Amazing work on this very well detailed sculpture...I am going to refer to it as a sculpture, since it looks suitable to put behind a glass enclosure for everyone to admire! Your talent in putting it together by using so many pieces of software is awesome! Best wishes for 2022 to bring forth many great moments in your life my friend! :-)

Many, many thanks, Johnny, and look forward to seeing some of your exceptional animations in 2022, going to be few highlights otherwise I fear, "the glass is half empty' looking at our political leaders...
