I am having a tough time writing this comment with that gun pointed straight at me...I must be careful not write anything that may upset her in any way or else...well you know what happens next, bang! bang! and I am dead! If I'm honest, I don't much like the flare in the background that I guess is the candle from the picture title. It's a cool idea and should provide an interesting rimlight and backlighting to the character but for some reason falls short for my eye. Now, what I DO like is the character in the foreground. She has a confident and subtly threatening air that I really like and the shadow falling across her; it greatly enhances the sense of a real place. In all, I think an effective picture and, as always, I appreciate a chance to see your work as I find it challenges me to do better with my own!
