Description
The highest summit in the range, Humphreys Peak, is the highest point in the state of Arizona at 12,633 feet (3,851 m) in elevation. The San Francisco Peaks are the remains of an eroded stratovolcano. An aquifer within the caldera supplies much of Flagstaff's water while the mountain itself is in the Coconino National Forest. I took this from the Meteor Crater from the entrance
tomorrow I must go for a CT scan. I do not want to, but I skipped it last year. the copay is $150.00. at least I will have an injection of the stuff to make things show up. I would hate having to drink the stuff, as I am sure it tastes very nasty
then Thursday I am going for a physical and blood work. no copay!!!
Bodie's leg has healed up and I am allowing him to be free of the E cone. If he starts chewing on his leg again, the cone will be back on him. after I returned from walking I opened the doggy door. he came up to enter the garage and suddenly stopped!

What a fabulous stretch of mountains and such a fascinating approach road! Hope Bodie is healing well and that your scan is all clear! Happy New Year Richard!

A sweeping and fantastic shot here, Richard! That meteor made one heck of a splat.. Hope we don't see one like that anytime soon.
Hope all goes well for you, and glad Bodie is doing better.
