I'm with the above...you know what I thought of when I first saw this? Moses. Don't laugh---the guy looks like Moses, and I thought his book was the tablets. Then I saw the magic dust and lantern, and I knew it wasn't Moses. (You don't hear a lotta talk about 'magic dust' in Exodus...) Point is, you got a really great looking wizard, Barb, and you've blended him into that fractal background seamlessly. And I love what you did with the fractal! I mean it's definitely a fractal, but you turned it into 1) a fractal version of the primal rock of Mt. Sinai (moses again), and 2) the remains of a crashed fractal rocket ship. I mean w/ all those crevices and open areas---it's like the wreckage of a fractal outstation, with a great moon behind (or sun). And, instead of your signature birds, you have a sole dragon...and, to top it off, you used photographic shift in focus: The front and back are out-of-focus, while the wizard's surrounding is in complete focus. Another total surprise, and I love how you turned a fractal webwork into this huge primal rock-scape. I swear that guy is Moses. (I half-expect a voice to boom out: "Thou shalt not----wait----are those fractals??? You found fractals??? Out here???") Another delight from you, barb.

He was the Wizard of a thousand Kings and I chanced to meet him one night wandering. He told me tales and he drank my wine me and my Wizard we were feeling fine. A bit of The Wizard by Uriah Heep...love the way you used the Fractal here it works
