Description
They met in the central corridor; both going to the main lab.
"You know." He finally broke the silence. "That Starfleet Commander is going to file under a security clause and take possession of all that we have."
"Not happening, Will." She responded sharply. He grinned at her in response to how fast she had snapped back. "Sorry." She sighed. Drawing a deep breath, she pulled her emotions back into check. "Yeah. I had thought of that too. I will not permit them access to our materials or the artifacts we worked so hard to recover."
"Question is, how do we prevent it? The science council will back you. You know that."
"We make for Outreach."
"Beyond Federation and Starfleet regulations and control." He nodded slowly. "The outer territories."
"We can continue our research in peace there. Without Starfleet involvement." She added.
"There will be consequences." Will chuckled lightly.
"Aren't there always." She smiled back.

Famous last words (up there with "I have a bad feeling about this." 😂) Good luck, you two. Hope whatever is in Outreach doesn't come for you...

thank you so much. everything is Daz studio. I have many on this computer, but I like Daz best. though I skipped their latest upgrade; too many bad reviews on it. The computer is an apple which was set up primarily to do cgi work.
