Description
this home was built and paid for by a cousin of someone I know. unfortunately while visiting home, while crossing the street in front of the house, she was hit by a tricycle for hire for transportation. she passed away. the home stayed empty for many months, but was finally sold. the new owners destroyed the beautiful mansion and built another home surrounded by a very tall fence.
I posted this same photo before, but I ran across it again. I guess some people has so much money, that they can afford to destroy a beautiful home

Wow, what a shame to demolish this beautiful home..

What a crazy bit of history---first, to be done in by a tricycle, and die from the wounds...I'm very sorry for her loss. And then to have someone buy it and totally demolish it...something from a storybook. The photo is in deep sepias, and you got a softness to it: It's a haunting, sensitive photo, with beautfiul rust-colored sepia. And the home itself is grand and intimate at the same time. And that's a cross above the upper story window---I almost thought it was a church. Haunting shot and story, Richard.

A beautiful photo of a stunning home. Too bad it was destroyed.
